Getting started

How long does setup take?

Most businesses are live within 24 hours. After a short onboarding call — where you share your services, hours, and typical questions — we handle the calendar connection, service configuration, call forwarding and voice customisation.

How easy is the setup?

As easy as it gets. No software to install. No apps to learn. You don't touch anything technical — we configure it all based on a short onboarding call. If you can use a phone, you're ready.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. You can cancel anytime with no fees. We believe you'll stay because it works, not because you're locked in.

Is it reversible if I change my mind?

Completely reversible. To stop using G'day Desk, switch off your call forwarding — calls return to your phone like before. Your calendar and bookings stay yours. Zero risk.

What happens if the AI can't handle a call?

It escalates to you or your team. You can set up escalation rules so the right person is always contacted.

Is the price per location or per business?

Pricing is per location. If you run multiple sites, clinics, or crews, we'll set up a multi-location plan tailored to your setup with a discount per extra site. Get in touch and we'll quote it for you.

Is there a call limit?

No hard call cap. Both plans are designed for typical call volumes for your industry. If your business has unusually high call traffic, we'll have a chat to make sure the plan fits.

Why is Allied Health priced differently from Trades?

Allied health practices — dental, physio, chiro, psych and similar — typically handle more complex patient enquiries: insurance and Medicare questions, referral requirements, multi-practitioner scheduling. The Allied Health plan configures the AI to handle those technical enquiries directly.

Does it handle multiple practitioners?

Yes. G'day Desk handles multi-practitioner clinics, routing bookings to the right diary based on practitioner availability, specialisation, or patient preference.

Can the AI handle complex patient enquiries?

Yes. Allied Health plans configure the AI to handle technical caller questions — HCF, Bupa, HICAPS, Medicare rebates, referral requirements, treatment processes and preparation instructions — based on your practice's specifics.

Is G'day Desk suitable for dental clinics?

Absolutely. Dentists are almost always chair-side and can't answer the phone — yet new-patient calls go unanswered and existing patients can't book, reschedule, or cancel without being put on hold. G'day Desk handles all of that 24/7. The Allied Health plan covers the more complex logic dental practices need (multi-practitioner, procedure-specific durations, new vs. returning flows).

Does it work with ServiceM8?

Yes. Quotes captured on the call land in your ServiceM8 queue as a Quote; confirmed bookings land as a Work Order, ready for your team to action. No double-entry.

Can it give a quote without seeing the job?

Yes for known categories — Jack quotes a ballpark range from your category list (e.g. tap repair $120–$280). For unknown jobs or where photos are needed, the customer can MMS a photo and Jack texts back a written quote — or captures the details and books a visit for a firm price on the day.

What about emergency / after-hours calls?

Full Desk covers every call 24/7 — burst pipes at 11pm, dead locks at midnight, weekend aircon failures. Essentials covers after-hours and weekends only — during business hours, the phone rings on your handset like normal.

How is Custom different from the Allied Health or Trades tiers?

Do I need to be a big business for Custom?
