What types of businesses does G'day Desk work for?

G'day Desk works for any business that loses customers from missed calls. There are two off-the-shelf verticals: tradies and field-service businesses (handymen, plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, mobile mechanics) and allied health and dental clinics (dentists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, podiatrists, psychologists, and more). A fully custom tier covers everything else — law firms, real estate, specialty clinics, studios, and consultancies across Australia.

How much does G'day Desk cost?

G'day Desk is priced per day. Allied Health is A$7 per day (Essentials — after-hours and weekend cover) or A$13 per day (Full Desk — every call 24/7). Trades is A$10 per day (Essentials) or A$20 per day (Full Desk). The fully custom tier is quoted per build, from around A$15 per day. Allied Health and Trades include your first week free; the custom tier starts with a 2-week paid pilot instead. Every plan includes free setup, no lock-in contract, unlimited calls and bookings, and calendar sync. Optional SMS confirmations are available (off by default). Prices exclude GST.

What calendars do you support?

We currently support Google Calendar, Square Appointments (including Square's built-in booking system), Cliniko, Halaxy, Dentally, and ServiceM8. More integrations — Monday, Fresha, Mindbody, and Core Practice — are coming soon.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. You can cancel anytime. We believe you'll stay because it works, not because you're locked in.

Is the price per location or per business?

Pricing is per location. If you run multiple sites, clinics, or crews, we'll set up a multi-location plan tailored to your setup with a discount per extra site. Contact us for a quote.

Is there a call limit?

There is no hard call cap. Both plans are designed for typical tradie and clinic call volumes, which is well within fair use. If your business has unusually high call traffic (call-centre territory or thousands of calls a day), we'll discuss a custom plan to make sure the pricing fits.

How long does setup take?

Most businesses are up and running within a single day. After a short onboarding call where you share your services, hours, and FAQs, we handle everything — connecting your calendar, service configuration, call forwarding, and voice customisation. Usually live within 24 hours.

How easy is the setup?

As easy as it gets. You don't touch anything technical. We have a short onboarding call where you tell us about your business, then we configure everything for you. No software to install, no training required, no IT skills needed.

Is G'day Desk reversible? Can I cancel and go back?

Completely reversible. No lock-in contract, cancel any time with no fees. To stop using G'day Desk, just switch off your call forwarding — calls go straight back to your phone exactly like before. Your calendar and bookings stay yours. Zero risk, zero commitment.

What happens if the AI can't handle a call?

It escalates to you or your team. You can set up escalation rules so the right person is always contacted.

Can G'day Desk handle multiple services for my business?

Yes. During onboarding, you tell us every service your business offers — names, durations, and pricing. We configure G'day Desk to match your exact menu. You can update your services anytime.

Does G'day Desk handle phased appointments with processing time in the middle?

Yes. G'day Desk supports multi-stage services with non-blocking processing gaps — ideal for any appointment where the client waits during a set step, such as a procedure with setting or development time. The room stays booked for that client, but your staff can take other appointments during the gap. More bookings, same day, no extra staff.

Does G'day Desk work after hours and on weekends?

Yes. G'day Desk answers calls 24/7 including weekends, public holidays, and after hours. It never takes a break or calls in sick — so you never miss a booking even when you're closed.
