Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using G'day Desk ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and G'day Desk.

2. Service Description

G'day Desk provides an AI-powered phone answering and appointment booking platform for service businesses in Australia. The Service answers incoming phone calls, books appointments into your connected calendar or booking system (such as Google Calendar or Square Appointments), and (if you choose) sends SMS confirmations to your clients.

3. Eligibility

The Service is available to businesses operating in Australia. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business.

4. Account and Setup

  • You are responsible for providing accurate business information during setup
  • You must grant G'day Desk access to your calendar or booking system (such as Google Calendar or Square Appointments) for the Service to function
  • You are responsible for configuring your call forwarding to direct calls to the G'day Desk service number
  • Setup is provided free of charge

5. Pricing and Payment

G'day Desk offers two subscription plans:

  • Essentials plan: Billed monthly. The AI answers calls after your business hours and on weekends; during opening hours your own line handles calls.
  • Full Desk plan: Billed monthly. Covers all calls forwarded to G'day Desk, including those answered during business hours.
  • Your first 7 days are free on both plans, with no card required to start. To continue after the trial you add a card from your dashboard; if no card is added we release your number and close the account at the end of a short grace period. We never charge you during the 7-day free trial.
  • If you cancel before the 7-day trial ends, you will not be charged.
  • After the free trial, billing is monthly. The monthly rate is the per-day price multiplied by 30 (a 30-day calendar month).
  • There is no lock-in contract; you may cancel at any time
  • You may change plans at any time by contacting us; the new rate takes effect from the next billing day
  • Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST
  • Per location: The above prices are per business location. Multi-location plans are available on request and are quoted separately.
  • Fair use: Plans are designed for typical service business call volumes (barber shops, salons, clinics, dog groomers, and similar). Sustained call volumes that materially exceed typical service business usage may require a custom plan; we will contact you before any change to your plan.

6. What's Included

Both plans include:

  • AI phone answering for forwarded calls
  • Unlimited incoming calls and bookings
  • Google Calendar and Square Appointments sync
  • SMS booking confirmations to your clients
  • Reschedule and cancellation handling
  • Human escalation to your chosen number
  • 50+ language support
  • Free setup and integration

The Full Desk plan additionally includes:

  • 24/7 answering on every call (not just after-hours & weekends)
  • Custom greetings and voice style
  • Custom service and schedule changes on request
  • Flexible calendar blocking
  • Priority support

7. Your Responsibilities

  • Keep your connected calendar or booking system up to date with accurate availability
  • Ensure your call forwarding is correctly configured
  • Respond to escalated calls in a timely manner
  • Provide accurate service information for your business

8. Limitations

  • G'day Desk is an AI service and may not handle every call perfectly
  • We are not liable for missed or incorrectly booked appointments
  • The Service depends on third-party services (Google Calendar, Square, telephony providers, SMS gateways) that are outside our control
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime, though we strive for maximum availability

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • Your service will continue until the end of the current billing day
  • No refunds are provided for days already billed
  • Your call forwarding should be reconfigured to your own number

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology comprising G'day Desk is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
